Long before focusing on graphic design as a career, I investigated many creative paths, from patchwork quilting and intricate designs in cross-stitch and needlepoint, to polymer clay sculpting, beadwork and, from childhood, portraiture.

After having a porch built on the front of my home, I had a fun and decorative idea, that would utilize the ever growing volume of broken and cut ceramic and marble tiles left over from my husband Kostas' home renovation company projects: a mosaic floor covering for the porch.

The project soon became a labor of love, and a 'patchwork quilt' of sorts, with many contributions of trinkets, keepsakes and labor! from the whole family.

When the porch was complete, I realized that the thrill and satisfaction of this creativity could be continued - on a smaller scale. It has become a culmination of my passion for faces, collected trinkets, polymer clay, beads, and paint.

I am learning new techniques every day, there's is an exquisite thrill from watching a piece grow from either careful planning, or with great spontaneity, inspired by a shape, a texture, a trinket.

I hope you enjoy seeing my work. Please feel free to e-mail me at beverley@b-muses.com, for more information, or discuss a custom made piece just for you. Thank you.
